Katerina Moschou was born in 1990 in Heraklion Crete, where she started her musical studies in the music high school.

In 2008 she continued her musical studies in the Musicology Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens where she graduated from with the title of the Integrated Master in Musicology. At the same time she was studying contemporary singing and classical violin at Philippos Nakas Conservatory.

She has attended workshops with worldwide known musicians such as Gretchen Parlato, Barry Harris, Gerald Cannon, Ralph Peterson and others, and she has worked with many famous musicians of the greek jazz scene.

Katerina continued her musical career singing with the “Remedy Jazz Quartet” in the Allure of the Seas, one of the biggest cruise ships in the world, by the company Royal Caribbean International. She worked there for 2 years, singing every night in the guests’ most favourite lounge, Jazz on 4.

She worked with great musicians from Europe and America and she got to meet the music culture of the Caribbean islands and Mexico.

For the last few years she studies the art and science of the voice through the Estill Voice Training, a programme for developing vocal skills based on analysing the process of vocal production into control of specific structures in the vocal mechanism.

In June 2021 she completed the 2 month workshop “Introduction in Voice Acting”, which took place in Akindynos Gkikas’ Open Theater Art studio.

 

In April 2021 she earned the EFP title (Estill Figure Proficiency) from the Estill Voice International and in April 2023 she gets certified as an Estill Master Trainer with Charlotte Xerri (EMCI-TP) as her mentor.

She recently moved to Heraklion, where she teaches the art of the voice and she is a member of the Estill Voice International.
